“Digital Museum” 2024

At the beginning of 2024, the Museum Crisis Center, together with the NGO Insha Osvita and the Territory of Terror Museum, launched an online course “Storytelling, Networking, and Funding for Ukrainian Museums”.

The training is created to develop a potential of Ukrainian museums in digital storytelling and virtual exhibition projects. The main aim of it is to raise an online visibility of Ukrainian culture as an instrument of sustainability in the times of war. Participants of the training are to develop skills in fundraising and developing partnership networks in Ukraine and abroad.

This will give museums an opportunity to foster their activity and engage more resources for Ukrainian culture’s preservation and promotion. Online-courses are conducted in Ukrainian language, with the simultaneous translation.

The course is designed for attendance of maximum 30 participants.
The priority is given to such categories:
  • Ukrainian museum workers from regional and local museums;
  • Ukrainian museum workers, displaced as a result of an ongoing war;
  • Other professionals in the field of heritage, who participate in the projects of digital storytelling and virtual exhibitions.
Course participants should have stable access to a computer and Internet connection, as well as sufficient time.

“Culture Helps” is a project co-funded by the European Union under a special call for proposals to support Ukrainian displaced persons and the Ukrainian cultural and creative sectors. The project is implemented by Insha Osvita (UA) and zusa (DE). The views and opinions expressed are those of the course authors alone and do not necessarily reflect the views of the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). Neither the European Union nor the EACEA can be held responsible for them.
